Keyboard-Monocorde by Joseph Poussot

Rare and hard to find Keyboard-Monocorde made by Joseph Poussot in Pierre-la-Treiche, France. This instrument was build around 1886 and is in original and unrestored condition.
The compass is 3 octaves with one string. The string is played with a bow while the keys are worked by the other hand. The keyboard is made in ivory and ebony.
Marie-Joseph-Nicolas Poussot lived from 1861 to 1891 and worked in Pierre-la-Treiche. In 1886 he patented his invention (Patent-No. 174 615; March 8, 1886: "for a new musical instrument, called "Monocorde" and its different varieties"...).
