Square Piano William Rolfe, London ca. 1810
Rare and very elegant
Regency Square Piano made by W. Rolfe in London c.1810 in unrestored
condition. The case is made in mahogany with inlays, original ivory
keyboard and tuning pins, the hammers are covered with leather, single
dampers, double action, one crack in the soundboard, pedal for controlling
the dampers, original dust-cover with two music stands. Three drawers
with bronze applications.
The instrument rests on 6 legs.
A very hard to find and elegant Regency Square Piano.
