Thomas Tunbridge, Edinburgh 1776

Early and very hard to find Scottish square piano by Thomas Tunbridge, 1776 in unrestored condition. Case is made in mahogany with inlays, 5 octaves, original ivorykeyboard (some key-covers are missing), single-action, 3 hand stops for lute and dampers, single dampers (some are missing), leather covered hammers, original tuning pins.
The instrument is in need of restoration.
Probably the only surviving instrument by this Scottish maker - no other instruments known yet.
