Danish square piano
made by Andreas Marschall in Copenhagen around 1813 - 1814. The case
is made in mahogany with inlays. The nameboard is signed with "A.
Marschall. Kopenhagen".
This instrument has a continuous soundboard without any cracks. The
keys are made with ivory, original tuning pins (5 are new), action,
bridge and hammers are in good condition.
This square piano has two knee levers, controlling the dampers and
a lute stop. Serial number is 56. The instrument is standing on 4
turned legs.
