Rare Square Piano made by Thomas Tomkison in London c.1825 in unrestored condition. The case is made in mahogany with inlays, original ivory keyboard and tuning pins, the hammers are covered with the original leather, single dampers, double action, no cracks in the soundboard, pedal for controlling the dampers (missing), some veneer damage. The nameboard is signed with No. 297, the instrument is stamped with No. 8725 and rests on 4 legs. A very elegant Square Piano with a lovely sound.
