Thomas Tomkison, London ca. 1810

Rare Regency Square Piano made by Thomas Tomkison in London c.1810 in unrestored but good playable condition. The case is made in mahogany with inlays, original ivory keyboard and tuning pins, the hammers are covered with the original leather, single dampers, double action, two small cracks in the soundboard, pedal for controlling the dampers (missing). The instrument is signed with "H. Martin No. 694" The instrument rests on 4 legs. A very hard to find and elegant Regency Square Piano with a lovely sound.
