William Stodart, London ca. 1810

Regency Square Piano made by W. Stodart in London ca. 1810 in unrestored playable condition. The case is made in mahogany with inlays, original ivory keyboard, the hammers are covered with leather, single dampers, double action, original tuning pins. There are no cracks in the soundboard and wrestplank. This square piano is playable but needs some attention, pedal is missing. The first key is handwritten signed with "Cochran No. 32". The instrument rests on 6 legs with brass castors.
