John Broadwood and Sons, London ca. 1850

Late grand Fortepiano made by John Broadwood and Sons in London, around 1850. The instrument is in unrestored and playable condition, the case is made in rosewood with wooden applications, typical Broadwood "duck-feet-pedals" (dampers and due corde), original tuning pins, straight strung, soundboard, wrestplank and bridge are in excellent condition. Some damage in the veneer on the left side and the nameboard label (original labels are available for copy).

The lyra was not assembled for taking the photos.
