Erard, Paris um 1900

Grand piano made by Erard in Paris. This instrument was build around 1900 and is in very good and playable condition.
The case is made in rosewood (some small parts of the veneer need attention), ivory keyboard, straight strung with original strings, underdampers, three metal bars, original tuning pins, wrestplank, bridge and soundboard are in excellent condition.

The soundboard is signed with:
"Brevet d'Invention
Séb. et P. ERARD
13 et 21, rue du Mail
Paris."


The instrument is complete with key to lock up the lid. Two pedals controlling dampers and due corde. The tuning pitch is 440 Hz, the serial number is 82788. Legs were changed in a modern style some time ago.

The lyra was not assembled for taking the photos.
