Julius Blüthner, Leipzig 1893 (Aliquot)
Grand piano made by the german firm Julius Blüthner in Leipzig.
This instrument was build 1893 and is in very good playable condition.
It has the 1872 patented Aliquot System.
The case is black with original shellac (quite a lot cinch marks on
the outer case), perfect ivory keyboard, over strung with mostly original
strings, original tuning pins, wrestplank and bridge are in excellent
condition. The soundboard has one crack. The action is in excellent
condition, barely played. The lid is decorated with a golden medal.
Two pedals controlling dampers and due corde.
The sound is rich, very warm and romantic.
The lyra was not assembled for taking the photos.
